In my capacity as the National Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce Co-Chair, I addressed an invitation-only audience of key industry leaders, equity advocates, and activists, on the subject of equity and partnership. I shared how industry partners can help provide a level playing field through investing in the pipelines of talent that have not traditionally identified as viable. As an educator in a public design program my message stressed diversity of path, identifying those at the point of possibility and supporting those tasked with planting the seeds of possibility.
